Student Conduct & Community Standards (SCCS) has compiled the data from the Academic Integrity Faculty Satisfaction Survey, and the results are ready to share.

The largest takeaway from the responses was that faculty would like to see more training opportunities in regard to academic integrity. SCCS is committed to providing more training opportunities in the next academic year virtually and in person. It appreciates the time people took to complete the survey and hopes to work collaboratively with Academic Affairs and Faculty Senate to ensure improvements are made.

Additionally, SCCS is working to provide copies of these results which will be sent to deans and department chairs in the coming weeks.

For questions or to request a hard copy of the information, reach out to SCCS@wichita.edu.

Need time to de-stress before finals? Student Conduct & Community Standards is hosting a board game event from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 in 261 Rhatigan Student Center as part of Student Activity Councils De-Stress Fest program of events.

Come by and play some fun games such as Scrabble, Phase 10, Sorry, What Do You Meme?, Catchphrase and more.

Student Conduct & Community Standards (SCCS) is trying to gauge satisfaction and evaluate the services offered by its office in the resolution of academic integrity cases by gathering feedback from people who may have referred academic integrity cases to the SCCS office.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and confidential. The responses will be reviewed by SCCS staff to strengthen the academic integrity process. Group results from this survey may be shared with the faculty senate executive board or deans of colleges to further assist with education on the academic integrity process.

Faculty members at Wichita State can complete the survey here regardless of their previous interaction with the academic integrity process. The survey will close on May 1.

If there are any questions, please reach out to Student Conduct & Community Standards at SCCS@wichita.edu.

The office of Student Conduct and Community Standards is looking for bright young students to join the Academic Integrity and Student Conduct hearing boards. This is an opportunity to gain community service hours and make a lasting impact at Wichita State.

Along with the training to be an active and engaged board member, members will help create the future of what these boards look like.

Serving on the Academic Integrity Committee or Student Conduct Board will allow students to meet and work with faculty and staff at WSU, engage with peers and broaden their networks. Interested students can sign up here.

Those interested in joining or who have questions can reach out to Liz Thornton at liz.thornton@wichita.edu.
