The speaker for the seminar is Prasanth Shyamsundar from the Fermilab Quantum Institute. The seminar will cover the topic “Enhancing Quantum Error Mitigation and Characterization with Statistics and ML.”

The speakers of the seminar are Elizabeth Behrman, professor of math and statistics, and James Steck, professor of aerospace engineering. The seminar will cover “Quantum generative adversarial network for mapping entanglement.”

The speaker will be Michael Dolce of Tuft University and the title of this talk will be “Progress of a NOvA Near Detector fit with Markov Chain Monte Carlo.”

Wichita State professor of physics Dr. Nick Solomey will speak on dark matter at the next Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 in 128 Jabara Hall or via Zoom.

The next WSU Physics Seminar Series talk will feature WSU’s own Jarred Novak at 2 p.m. Nov. 30 in 128 Jabara Hall. Novak’s talk is titled “Nudar, A Neutrino Directional Sensitive Detector.”

Join us for the next physics seminar at 2 p.m. Nov. 16 in 128 Jabara Hall. This seminar will feature Mazen Nairet, American Physical Society Career Mentoring Fellow, who will speak on “Paths of Physics Degree Holders.” Nairat will speak via Zoom.

Join us for the next Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 in 128 Jabara Hall. Reed Bowles from Indiana University will speak on “Searching for Neutrino Tridents using the NOvA Near Detector.”

The next WSU physics seminar is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, in 128 Jabara Hall and on Zoom.

This talk will feature Stanley Fricke, director of medical physics and a professor at Georgetown University. He will speak on “Medical Physics, What does a Physicist do in a Hospital?”

The Physics Seminar featuring Ryan Morfin has been canceled.

The next physics seminar will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 128 Jabara Hall and via Zoom. The seminar will feature Dr. Joshua Isaacson, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Batavia, Illionois. The title for the talk is “Accelerating LHC Event Generators.”
