The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (UReCA) Hub research social from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 in the Ablah Library is a chance for students, faculty and staff to connect, get to know each other and start the semester off right by playing games and light networking. Refreshments will be available.

The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (UReCA) Hub team will help you fill out your application by answering any questions you may have so your application stands out. The URCA Hub Grant is $1,500 per applicant and is eligible for sophomores and up. For more information about the grant, visit the URCA Hub Grant website.

Learn about the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (UReCA) Hub, how to reach out to faculty, what research programs are at WSU and key information to know when getting involved in research at an upcoming session. The session is from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept 14 online via Microsoft Teams.

Join the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (UReCA) Hub online and bring research-related questions to upcoming office hours.

The research troubleshoot meetings are held every three weeks to help answer any undergraduate research-related questions. These meetings are from 10 to 11 a.m. on the following dates online via Microsoft Teams:

  • Sept. 8
  • Sept. 29
  • Oct. 20
  • Nov. 10
  • Dec. 1

Questions like how to find a mentor, URCA Hub Grant questions, Undergraduate Day at the Capitol and more are welcome. If staff do not know the answer, they will find out and get back to you.

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship supports undergraduates interested in research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering. The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (UReCA) Hub will host another informational session at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 via Microsoft Teams.
