Shocker men’s basketball’s 2025-26 season officially gets underway at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Charles Koch Arena, hosting UNC-Asheville. Tickets for the game are available now starting at only $15.

Shocker women’s basketball opens its season at home against Lincoln at 6 p.m. tonight, Nov. 3, and the first 100 students to attend will receive free pizza outside the student section in sections 116 and 117. Student tickets for the game are available at no additional cost by presenting your Shocker ID at the Shocker Athletics Ticket Office when doors open at 5 p.m.

Wichita State Men's Basketball Student Tickets Now Mobile

Student tickets for Wichita State men’s basketball games are now available to claim from your mobile device using your myWSU ID student log-in. Claim your free student ticket for tomorrow night’s home-opening game against UNC-Asheville at goshockers.com/StudentTickets. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Charles Koch Arena, and the first 500 students will receive this year’s official student section T-shirt at no cost.

Up to two guest tickets are also available for students to purchase for $15 each.

The only physical location students may pick up printed tickets is the Shocker Athletics Ticket Office inside Charles Koch Arena, however, students are highly encouraged to claim mobile tickets for greater convenience and to avoid box office lines on game days.

The Shocker Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon starts at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 in the Aetna Multi-Purpose Center at Charles Koch Arena. Lunch is served at noon and programming will begin soon after.

Enjoy a catered Thanksgiving-styled meal by the Candle Club and listen to players and coaches preview the upcoming season with “Voice of the Shockers” Mike Kennedy serving as the event emcee.

WSU MBB vs Drake | Sat, Oct. 11 at 1pm | Charles Koch Arena

Shocker men’s basketball hosts Drake in a charity scrimmage at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 in Charles Koch Arena. WSU students, faculty, staff and administration can claim a general admission ticket on game day at the Shocker Ticket Office for no cost with their Shocker ID. All youth 18 and under can also claim a ticket at no cost.

All other tickets are $20 with proceeds benefiting Cheese Johnson’s UJUMP Junior Mentoring Program and the Wichita Children’s Home.

Shocker Athletics is hosting its annual garage sale from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 inside the Aetna Multi-Purpose Facility, located on the east side of Charles Koch Arena. Score exclusive Shocker gear at unbeatable prices.

Scheels Junior Shocker Club memberships for the 2025-26 year are available now. TBT Record Attendance and Viewership

The Basketball Tournament (TBT) announced on Thursday that it has achieved new attendance and viewership records throughout the 2025 tournament. Wichita State’s alumni team, the Aftershocks, and its fans led the charge, contributing to the highest-attended championship game ever with 9,029 fans at Charles Koch Arena on Sunday, Aug. 3. The championship game featuring the AfterShocks against Eberlein Drive on FOX was also the most watched TBT game in the tournament’s history.

This was Wichita’s sixth season hosting TBT and its first time hosting the championship game.
