Sidewalk between Heskett Center and the new pickleball courts will be partially closed for the week

The sidewalk running north and south between Heskett Center and the new pickleball courts will be partially closed for approximately one week for construction.

A small section needs to be removed and replaced. Staff and students will still be able to use the sidewalk and will have to walk around the barricade construction fence.

Construction on new pickleball courts starting Jan. 8

The new pickleball court project will start Wednesday, Jan. 8. Crossland Construction will set up the construction fence around the grassy area north of Lindquist Hall Jan. 8, and dirt work will start Monday, Jan. 13, weather permitting.

The construction project is scheduled to be completed early summer 2025. Use caution when using the walkway between Heskett Center and Grace Wilkie, as this will be the main construction route to bring in materials and equipment.
