For the fourth and final keynote of the 2025 Elevate Speaker Series, founder and principal consultant of Mamarazzi Communications, LLC, Ti’Juana Hardwell, will share how authentic storytelling can transform the way small businesses, nonprofits and creatives connect with their customers.

The event is from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 at Social Tap at Braeburn Square. Remarks begin at 4 p.m.

The WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement is seeking volunteers for the signature Shocktoberfest Saturday, Oct. 4 events. Help create an unforgettable day of Shocker Pride at the Entrepreneur Market, Shocktoberfest Parade and Brew Garden.

2024 Shocktoberfest Brew Garden + Fan Fest at Kock Arena East Parking Lot

Enjoy an afternoon filled with beverages from your favorite local vendors right here on campus from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in the Charles Koch Arena. The Shocktoberfest Brew Garden + Fan Fest, in partnership with Shocker Athletics, will fill the alley and parking lot east of Koch Arena with music, breweries, food trucks and fun activities for the whole family.

The inaugural Entrepreneur Market will highlight the many diverse small businesses in our community run by alumni, students and friends. Browse market stalls from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 5 in Woolsey Hall to explore unique creations while supporting local businesses.

Wu waves to the crowd during the Shocktoberfest Parade

Join the annual celebration of Shocker spirit at the annual Shocktoberfest Parade marching through campus starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. Either come by to watch or register to have your own float in the parade now.

Hear from Shocker Sound Machine, wave to WuShock and this year’s student athletes, and see the creativity of student organizations on display as they showcase their custom floats.

The Shocktoberfest Bonfire will kick off the ultimate week of Shocker spirit as the community celebrates what makes Shocker Nation great. Join an evening of fun from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at Braeburn Square, alongside a showcase of the athletic coaches and teams and the 2024 college court.

Ted Woodward will be the MC for the evening, with music hosted by DJ Mario Caleb Barnes.
